Terms of Service

1. The Service

TalktoTesla (the "Service") lets you view and analyze your Tesla vehicle data in chat (LINE / WhatsApp): chat Q&A, driving / charging / battery analysis, maintenance and inspection reminders, and driving scores. The Service is an independent product using the official Tesla API and is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. or xAI.

2. Account & Tesla Connection

Using the Service requires a LINE or WhatsApp account and your own authorization linking your Tesla account. You can disconnect at any time. One account covers multiple Teslas at no extra charge.

3. Plans, Pricing & Cancellation

• The Service is offered on paid plans (Basic / Premium). Prices are shown at checkout.
• Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.
• You can cancel anytime. After cancellation, the Service remains available until the end of the paid period. No pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
• Referral program: when someone subscribes to Premium using your code, they receive a discount on their first Premium payment (50% monthly / 5% annual; Basic is not discounted) and you earn one half-price Premium month. To receive the reward, you must be on an active Premium subscription at that time (up to 10 rewards per calendar year). Rewards obtained through abuse (self-referral, mass fake signups, etc.) may be revoked.

4. AI Responses & Predictions

Chat responses and predictions (battery degradation, resale value estimates, savings, maintenance timing, etc.) include AI-generated content and are provided for information only. We do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness — consult a professional for important service or purchase decisions. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI responses.

5. Disclaimer

• The Service is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. or xAI
• The Service may change or be suspended without notice due to Tesla API changes
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of vehicle data retrieved
• Data retrieval and notifications may be delayed or missed depending on connectivity and vehicle state

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Unauthorized access; reverse engineering, copying or reselling the Service
• Connecting another person’s Tesla account or vehicle without authorization
• Abusing the referral program
• Any use violating applicable law or public order

7. Changes & Governing Law

We may update these terms as needed and will announce material changes in-app. Except where mandatory consumer-protection law applies, these terms are governed by the law of the service provider’s place of business. For consumers in the EU/EEA, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence prevail.

8. Mobile Messaging Terms (SMS / RCS)

TalktoTesla (also branded as “EV Buddy”) offers recurring messaging programs over SMS and RCS in supported regions. By opting in on our website (entering your phone number and agreeing to receive messages) or by messaging us first, you consent to receive automated messages from us — including maintenance reminders, battery-health and efficiency reports, charging summaries and cost insights, account and subscription notices, occasional service tips or offers, and replies to questions you ask — at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies based on your usage and settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel (you will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent); reply START to re-subscribe.
