Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

• Tesla vehicle information (VIN, odometer, charging, vehicle state, etc.)
• Vehicle inspection data (expiry date, plate, etc.)
• Telemetry (high-frequency driving, vehicle and location data)
• An approximate area inferred from location (a rough vicinity of your home — we do NOT store your address)
• LINE account ID (for notifications and service delivery)

2. How We Use Your Data

• Predicting and notifying maintenance schedules
• Vehicle inspection reminders
• Analyzing driving scores / efficiency and suggesting service
• Introducing nearby shops and campaigns based on your area (only with optional consent)
• Improving service quality

3. Sharing Data with Registered Shops (Optional)

Only with your separate consent, we use your approximate area to deliver campaigns and service suggestions from nearby registered shops. We never pass your address or precise location to shops.

4. Data Management

• Data is used solely within the stated purposes
• Location is treated as an approximate area (~1km) — never stored as an address or precise point
• Raw telemetry is retained for 90 days, then converted into anonymous aggregate data that cannot identify individuals
• We do not share or sell your data to third parties without consent
• We implement security measures and promptly delete data no longer needed

5. Cancellation & Data Deletion

You may cancel the service at any time. Upon cancellation, data sharing stops and your data will be deleted upon request. You can cancel by blocking the LINE account or through the in-app settings. For immediate deletion requests, please contact privacy@talktotesla.com.

6. Disclaimer

• This service is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.
• Service may change or be suspended without notice due to Tesla API changes
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of vehicle data retrieved

7. Premium Plan

A monthly premium plan is available that unlocks additional features including AI assistant and push notifications. The premium plan is optional and not required to use basic features.

8. Waitlist (Early-Access) Emails

If you join the waitlist, we send you email about the launch and related updates. We collect your email address and your approximate country (a country code inferred from your IP address; we do not store the IP address itself). The purpose is sending you TalktoTesla updates by email, and the legal basis is your consent (confirmed by submitting the form and clicking the confirmation email). Your data is processed in the United States (a transfer to a third country; transfer mechanism: the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC)). You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and withdraw consent (i.e., unsubscribe). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can request full deletion at privacy@talktotesla.com. Retention: unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days; confirmed signups are kept until we stop sending after launch or you request deletion (up to 12 months).
